Submit a Memorial Notice
If you would like us to share news of an alumnus’ passing, please send the memorial information to our Development & Alumni Office for inclusion in the Newshound.
When submitting a memorial notice, please include any of the following details:
- Full name of the alumnus/alumna
- Date of passing
- Graduation year (if known)
- Years attended Notre Dame
- Hometown or place of residence
- Any involvement in Notre Dame teams, clubs, activities, or leadership roles
- A copy of the obituary or memorial notice (if available)
- A photo (optional)
Providing these additional details helps the Alumni Office to properly recognize and preserve the individual’s Notre Dame legacy.
Memorial Donations
Families who wish to direct memorial donations to Athol Murray College of Notre Dame may include the following wording in an obituary:
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of [Name] to Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, Development & Alumni Office, Box 100, Wilcox, Saskatchewan S0G 5E0, or online at www.notredame.ca.
Donations made in memory of an alumnus support future generations of Notre Dame students and help continue the mission and legacy of Father Athol Murray.
